Barbados is a surprising delight. The rum is strong and well made. The beaches are gorgeous and welcoming. The island itself is small enough to see a lot of it in one trip. Being lined with little adorable beach bars isn’t a bummer if you want to make a pit stop on your journey from one end to the other. If you find yourself on the west side of the island near Speightstown. There is a lovely and casual spot called Local & co. You can sit with your feet in the sand while you eat a fresh local fair.

Beach Bar Bliss is easy to come by on this island. The Sun on your shoulders warms you as the salty water cools you. Among the “must visits” is a small bar on the south west part of the island. It welcomes you with cocktails and small plates. You can sip on a cocktail and while you wait for your food take a dip in the ocean. Live music fills the air and before you know it you’ll be gifted a gorgeous Caribbean sunset. Everyone really gives you the just chillin vibe. It will be hard to not adapt and never want to leave youself.
